I am overwhelmed with unspeakable joy as we turn out our Year 2023 graduating set of St. Anne’s School 2, Molete Ibadan. I  am also elated to the wind of positive change we are experiencing in St. Anne’s Group of Schools witn a space of almost two years which our parents and other stakeholders can attest. We need to give thanks to GOD Almighty for His Unfailing grace, His protection and provision and the different stakeholders as the Government, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MoEST), Oyo State Post Primary Schools Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) management, Seminary St. Anne’s School Old Girls Association (SSASOGA), St. Anne’s Church, the teaching and non- teaching staff members, serving corp – members, and the parents’ community forum in working together for the growth and advancement of the school. All thanks to God for the team spirit driving us to move education forward at St. Anne’s School and our dear Oyo State.

The journey of a thousand mile begins with a step. Here we are witnessing this day to the glory of God. Our school has been making consistent progress, so remarkable despite challenges as a result of the quality of the teaching staff members, physical structures and other resources among which are the Internet Computer Technology (I.C.T) Room to train our students to be I.C.T compliant and to add to their skill development in the ever changing world, and the School on air available for use in helping teaching /learning. Our teachers are doing their best in making use of the resources available positively.

Thanks to God for the impact of the SSASOGA and the roles played by them in encouraging indigent students, those who are academically endowed. SSASOGA has been doing well in serving as role model for the students to emulate in giving back to their Alma mater and mankind.

The completion of Junior Secondary School (JSS) 3 and Senior Secondary School (SSS) is a milestone recorded by our outgoing SSS3 students and our Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) students as you would all be moving forward to the next stage of your educational attainment. I hereby congratulate you for coming this far; being focused, purposeful and dedicated. I like you to put it in mind the motto of your Alma mater. Let me also use this medium to felicitate with our wonderful parents and guardians of the graduating students. You have invested on your wards in one way or the other. Thanks for being there to encourage them to embrace education which is the best leveler. I pray that your joy would increase more and more on them. Thank you for the community spirit.

St. Anne’s school is committed to bringing out the best of our students, and we will continue to doing so to bring about a better society which we shall all be glad about. I thank the committee saddled with the responsibility of having this programme. The entire teaching and non teaching staff, the serving Corp members, our  School’s School’s Governing Board Chairperson and her team, Mrs Funmi Kehinde, SSASOGA leadership and members, St. Anne’s Church and the School’s chaplain, the MoEST and TESCOM management for the supports in nurturing and getting our students to be well groomed to face the future without fear. By God’s special grace, they will go higher and higher in their educational pursuit and career.

I also like to admonish other students under our tutelage also desiring and looking forward for a time like this to be focused, diligent and be committed to hard work to be outstanding in life. For those who had done well in their recently concluded examinations, accept my congratulations. I ask of you not to rest on your oars.
